1. The shift: agreement work is moving into AI workflows

Agreements still start in familiar places, often in Word, in existing templates or inside an AI chat. That will not change overnight, and it does not have to. What is changing is how fast people expect to move from an idea, a document or a conversation to something that can actually be signed.

Teams already use AI to summarize, explain, translate and connect work across systems. Signing should not sit outside that development as a separate, manual step at the end of the process.

That mismatch is what Formify exists to close.

2. Our belief: a document is not an agreement until it can be understood and signed

Fast-moving companies want to get agreements done without turning every step into a long legal process. Sometimes that means editing in Word. Sometimes it means asking AI for a first version. Sometimes it means starting from something that already exists and refining it before it moves into a signing process.

That is a normal part of how business works.

Formify starts when the document needs to become an agreement, at the moment someone outside your company has to read it, understand it, trust it and sign it, while you need a process that is clear, secure and traceable.

Before someone signs, they should be able to ask questions. They should be able to understand the content in plain language. They should be able to review the agreement in their own language, without moving sensitive text into uncontrolled tools.

3. The three ways Formify fits into the agreement workflow

Formify is AI assisted e-signature built for how companies already work, and for how AI is becoming part of that work.

First, AI inside Formify. The platform has a full interface for the moments when you want to click through the process yourself, and a chat-based way of working for the moments when you do not. You can ask the assistant to find documents, prepare a signing flow, send an agreement and follow up on status. Same product, two ways in: keyboard or conversation.

Second, AI with the document. A Formify document can come with its own AI assistant, so the signer can ask questions, get plain-language explanations, review the agreement in their own language and feel confident before signing. The signer gets clarity, while the sender keeps control of the data. Signing becomes more than a checkbox. It becomes a moment of real consent, on both sides of the table.

Third, Formify inside the AI tools and workflows you already use. Through our API and MCP, an AI tool can help create or prepare an agreement, decide where the signature fields belong, preview the document and send it for AI assisted signing through Formify. The point is not to force everyone into one platform. The point is to let signing happen where the work already starts.

Some work will happen inside Formify. Some work will happen in other AI tools. Some work will happen in Word, CRM systems, document archives and internal workflows. Formify connects that work to secure signing.

4. Trust and control: help in the document, not outside it

People already use AI to understand legal text, and that is not going away. The question is where they do it.

If the signing flow does not provide that help, signers may paste contracts into whatever public AI tool is closest at hand. They may do it to translate a clause, summarize a section or simply understand what they are about to sign. The intention is not wrong, but the result can be.

Sensitive agreements may end up in places no one in your company can audit, control or explain. Formify removes that incentive by giving the signer a safer alternative directly inside the document flow.

The architecture is built to back that promise. AI conversations are scoped to the specific transaction, tenant-isolated, and data passing through Formify is never used to train external models. Privacy by Design is the default, not an upsell.

5. Our direction: AI assisted signing for companies that need more than a signature
